To complement your busy days exploring the area, there are still loads of things to do here on the farm itself.

Walking

Stroll up the valley, along the stream or follow the footpaths around the farm (about 2 kms) and soak up the Devon countryside. From the highest points you can see from Dartmoor to the Salcombe Estuary and Start Bay.

Bird watching

See if you can add to our list of birds. Owls and Woodpeckers live in the woods, Herons and Kingfishers visit the ponds and our resident ducks and moorhens are always fascinating to watch.

Fishing

Guests are welcome to try their luck at fishing in the further ponds. We’d love to know what you catch!

Table tennis

With a comfy couch as well as a table tennis table in one of the stables, what better place for children to chill out!

Horse riding

We even have spare horse stables and by arrangement it is possible to bring your own horse on holiday and explore the extensive bridleways and lanes around the area.

Alternatively, there are very good riding stables within a couple of miles of the farm.


Finally, we have a trampoline in our back garden which chidren are welcome to use, as well as the usual selection of tennis rackets, swing ball, etc.
